The future belongs to those who, believe in the beauty of their dreams wisdom comes not from age, but from education and learning.
NP Bengali Girls Senior Secondary School was established in the year 1945 where the first governor of Delhi Mr. N.K Jha presided as the chief guest for the 1st annual function. The first Principal of this Bengali school was Ms. I. Swinfred when the school was extended as a high school and later as a Higher Secondary School in 1960 .The foundation of the building was laid in 1970 and the first batch of class 12th passed out with flying colours . Since so many years ,we have been transforming the lives of students unlocking their world and guiding them to the world of freedom.
I feel honoured and privileged to be a part of a reputed educational institution where every stakeholder is a learner and everyday is an opportunity to learn and improve ourselves.
Education is not just the process of giving knowledge for a future job but a lifelong process which creates an understanding of moral and ethical values to guide one's life in right path. As a principal, I want the best from each child and I am proud to be working to ensure that they are given the right knowledge to face the future challenges. The staff members, students and the school authorities are a team and is competent to complement each other's efforts. We focus on complete development of our students by involving them in both scholastic and co -scholastic activities which help our students to understand and explore their talents. The school authorities and parents work together to inculcate certain values in the students. 'Sound body has a sound mind ' .Let's allow our children to develop both physically and mentally . For this we nurture our students with utmost care and love .'Do the work with intention and not compulsion is our motto'.
